The Bangladesh Premier League, or BPL, is Bangladesh's biggest and most popular T20 cricket tournament. Since its debut in 2012, it has captured the hearts of hundreds of millions of cricket fans year after year. Alongside local stars, the league also attracts some of the world's best international players.
During the winter season, packed stadiums in Dhaka, Chattogram, and Sylhet — filled with fans in colourful jerseys — turn the BPL into a true festival. Six to seven franchise teams compete through a group stage, knockout rounds, and a final to determine the champion.
